The Four Corners Nacho Summit Committee is pleased to announce that the 53rd Annual Summit will convene at ZU Gallery on National Nachos Day.
For more than five decades, delegates from across the region have gathered to address the most pressing issues of our time, including cheese ratios, the bean question, and the placement of guacamole. No consensus has been reached. Talks will continue.
This year’s program includes a build-your-own nacho bar, live music from Little Brother, the Dad Joke Wall (open submissions), and the official guac vote, cast by chip. Results are binding.
Admission and the nacho bar are free. The nacho bar is funded by the Summit’s ministers. Drinks available for purchase. No pets, please. It’ll be a packed room with food at nose level.
Attire: diplomat, mountaineer, or one cheesy thing.
Register by November 1 to receive your official delegate credential, and see which ministerial posts are still open. Positions are limited and assigned in order of purchase: https://zugallery.com/summit/
The Committee also recognizes that this year’s Summit coincides with the ZU-Keeper’s birthday. In lieu of gifts, delegates are asked to contribute to Four Corners Food Not Bombs: pull-tab cans, fruit cups, cracker packs, tuna or chicken and cracker kits, warm clothes, or camping gear. Cash donations go to the organizers for hygiene products, hot meals, and whatever else is needed.
Pineapple remains banned. The Committee will not be taking questions.
Free, 21+ event.
