Are you ready to take center stage? Created by local musician and doctor Amanda Mullen, “Amplified” is seeking up to 16 talented women musicians from our region to showcase your unique sound in an intimate art gallery setting!

AUDITION DATES:

• Thursday, May 15, 2025
• ONLINE until May 24, 2025

LOCATION:

ZU Gallery, Cortez, CO

THE OPPORTUNITY:

• Paid Performance at our main event on September 12-13, 2025
• Showcase your talent in ZU Gallery’s stunning space
• Compete for cash prizes and performance opportunities
• Build your audience and connect with the local music community

AUDITION FORMAT:

• 10-minute performance slots
• Perform two original songs or arrangements
• Professional sound equipment provided
• Live audience and judging panel
• Public event – bring your supporters!

AWARDS:

• Best in Show Award: Selected by our panel of local music professionals
• People’s Choice Award: Voted by the live audience

Both winners receive cash prizes and featured performance slots at our main September event!

ELIGIBILITY:

• Women musicians within the Southwest Colorado region
• All genres welcome and encouraged
• Solo artists and small ensembles (up to 4 members)
• Must be 18+
• Original material preferred
• Participants from previous Amplified events are welcome
