Celebrate International Kite Day the only sensible way when it’s January in Colorado: indoors, with drinks, decorating kites instead of freezing our faces off trying to fly them.
What’s happening:
Drop in anytime between 5-8pm. All supplies provided. Stay for 20 minutes or stay all night.
Whether you make something beautiful, something weird, or something that looks like a kindergartner got into the craft supplies (no judgment), your kite will join the ZU constellation hanging above the gallery.
Fun fact: Kites were invented in China over 2,000 years ago and were originally used for military purposes like measuring distances and testing wind conditions. We’re using ours for slightly less strategic purposes – mostly just making the gallery look cool.
Come let your creativity soar. We’ll handle the rest.
