The Mutt Mayor of Montezuma is the most important canine election in the county. Any dog in Montezuma County can run. Pay the $5 entry fee and complete the official entry form sent to you after purchase. Candidates will be announced on social media before the event and the public votes online. The top 3 vote-getters walk the stage runway at Wags & Wine on September 5th and the winner is crowned live with a ribbon, an Instax portrait, and an acceptance speech.

All entry proceeds benefit For Pets’ Sake, supporting local animal welfare in Montezuma County.
