How do I get my art in the gallery?
We are not a co-op. Our artists are invited and contracted for six months. They are required to be from Montezuma County. We suggest participating in our pop-up exhibitions so we can consider you for a future opening in the main gallery. Note: We currently welcome books and CD’s from any Montezuma County author and/or musician.
I am interested in having my child be a Young Emerging Artist (Y.E.A.).
Email meet@zugallery.com with samples of their work to be considered for a future exhibition.
What is a pop-up exhibition?
We choose a theme for inspiration and have an open call for artists to bring in 1-4 pieces, any medium. We select a morning for drop-off and pop-up the show by that evening for a reception. We welcome all artists. There is no cost to enter. We do require your art be ready to hang or display. You may choose to sell your art. We take a 30% commission. Pop-up exhibitions usually last one week.
How do I purchase a piece of art?
Loudly scream, “I WANT THAT!,” we’ll come running. OR take the card associated with the piece to the checkout counter. We will complete your purchase, then carefully get your piece wrapped or arrange for delivery (depending on the size). If you’re not ready to take it home or would like to keep it on display (if it’s a part of a featured show) for a short time, we will add a red dot to the card to indicate it is sold. We accept all major credit cards, cash and verified checks. You may also shop online at zugallery.com and arrange for pick-up or local delivery. We can also arrange for shipping for an additional fee.
