Y.E.A. | “Through the Looking Glass”

ZU Gallery is proud to announce our first Young Emerging Artists (Y.E.A.) exhibit. We are hosting MonteZUma County up and coming artists in a series of pop-up shows in an effort to expose our youth to these experiences.

The show, “Through the Looking Glass” by Caroline Podgornoff will open on Saturday, October 2nd at 4PM with an artist reception and will run though October 30th. Free and Open to the public.

Caroline Podgornoff creates art using watercolor, acrylic, graphite and ink. She enjoys living in Cortez, Colorado and gets much of her inspiration from the Rocky Mountains, rivers and flowers. Her love of drawing and doodling at a young age developed into a hobby in which she explores people’s imagination and portrays mental health issues. Her talent is displayed in a variety of artistic styles including realism, surrealism and pop art. Through her current high school education she has become interested in graphic design and commercial art. She is excited to see what her future holds in the art world.
