Join the Cortez Sustainable Gardening & Farming Co-op for our Second Ever Seed Exchange! Everyone is invited to bring plant seeds of all kinds (veggie, flower, cover crop, tree, vine, fruit, grain) to share and trade. These can be store bought seeds or seeds you saved yourself.
Don’t have any seeds to share? Come anyway! Thanks to the generosity of people in our community there’s always seeds to share. This year we’ve invited some local seed producers to introduce themselves and tell us about the amazing locally grown seeds they will be offering for sale (and some to give away too!). There’s just nothing better than starting off your garden with seeds proven to be acclimated to our soil and climate. Our first seed swap in 2019 was a blast and we’re hoping to grow this event even bigger over the years. Zu Gallery has been gracious enough to let us use their space at no charge so please consider purchasing a drink or three while you trade seeds, meet new people and make new friends. Zu Gallery has a wonderful selection of local beers and wine for your afternoon sipping pleasure. There will also be non-alcoholic drinks available as well as freshly roasted and freshly brewed coffee from Mutiny Ranch (donations accepted).
