Learn to “Paint your Pet” with artist Alyssa Graves. Participants send in a picture of their favorite pet, which is then pre-sketched onto a canvas by Alyssa who then walks you through the steps of how to paint your furry (or feathery, or scaly) friend!
For optimal results, we request a focused image, that includes finer details, generally close-up, portrait style. This will be easiest to sketch and paint. Often an unusual pose or expression on their face makes for a great painting.
A commissioned painting can cost hundreds and you’re not involved in the process, but in this environment and for an easy price, you choose the photo and you get to be intimately involved in this one-of-a-kind, special creation made by a professional artist and you!
Cost includes all materials, instruction, snacks and a beverage. Workshop time is 3 hours.
Cost: $60/person
Once registered, deadline for photo submission: Sunday, March 12th by 5pm – email to meet@zugallery.com – again, we encourage cute closeups!
Kids are welcome if they have painted before or will be accompanied by an adult. Kids under the age of 8 will be allowed on a case-by-case basis.
