Networking, door prizes and a special guest speaker – Rick Scheer, GM of Ute Mountain Casino Hotel. He is going to speak on what it’s like to manage the largest employer in Montezuma County, and how they adapted and adjusted to the challenges from COVID.We hope you’ll join us and live united.

POWER BREAKFAST is a monthly breakfast opportunity for businesses or residents to meet and learn something of interest that helps or inspires. Hosted by the Cortez Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Southwest Colorado

LOCATION: ZU Gallery, 48 W. Main Street, Cortez (please enter at the Chestnut Street entrance)

TIME: 8am-9am

Price: FREE – BYOBreakfast – bring a door prize if you’d like 30 seconds on the mic!

We are limiting attendance to allow for social distancing, and recommend mask wearing unless eating or speaking (to the group, not each other). We are not providing breakfast or coffee this month but you are welcome to bring your own.

TIMELINE:

8:00- 8:15 check-in, network, get door prize tickets
8:15 – United Way Welcome introductions and elevator speeches (see below)
8:30 – Speaker
8:55 – Chamber closes, thank you

Have an announcement you’d like to make? Anyone who wants to give a 30-second elevator pitch MUST bring a door prize. You cannot introduce yourself – so make a friend and ask them to introduce you!Want to be a speaker?
