Are you ready to take your mosaic skills to the next level? Join us at ZU Gallery on October 21st and 22nd for a two-day Next Step Mosaic Class where we’ll dive deep into classical mosaic methods to create stunning nature-inspired images.

Workshop Highlights:

• Skill Development: This workshop is designed for mosaic enthusiasts who are looking to refine their skills. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this class will help you advance your mosaic artistry.
• Nature as Inspiration: Nature provides endless inspiration for art. Bring an outline drawing of your desired subject, preferably one that can fit on a 12″ x 12″ substrate. Don’t worry if you’re unsure; sample images will be available to choose from.
• Stained Glass Medium: We’ll be working with stained glass, a vibrant and versatile medium that adds depth and color to your mosaic. Discover the unique qualities of stained glass and how it can enhance your art.
• Thinset (Mortar) Adhesive: Instead of traditional adhesives, we’ll be using thinset (mortar). Learn how to work with this adhesive to create a strong, lasting bond in your mosaic projects.
• Finished Mosaic: By the end of the two days, you’ll walk away with a completed mosaic ready for hanging. Your masterpiece will serve as a beautiful addition to your home or a thoughtful gift for a loved one.
