About the Co-host:

Charles Green-Worshum III 

Born in Denver, Colorado, Charles embarked on a transformative journey at 19, relocating to Texas with his remarkable wife and two-month-old child. In June 2020, Charles founded Care Beyond Care, driven by a vision to revolutionize senior care.

Care Beyond Care stands as a testament to Charles’s commitment to meeting senior community needs. Recognizing the importance of a home setting for loved ones, he aimed to bridge the gap with 24-hour services akin to traditional assisted living. However, this journey wasn’t without challenges.

Facing regulatory hurdles, Charles experienced the harsh reality of being regulated out of business. Shifting from financial stability, making over six figures in 2020, he lived in his car to keep the business afloat in early 2023.

The move to Montezuma County aligned with Charles’s life values, inspiring a pursuit of dreams in this welcoming community. Since arriving, significant milestones include raising 11% of the $200K fundraising goal, successfully reviving Care Beyond Care, initiating a cleaning business, and establishing a non-profit.

Amidst this journey, Charles embraced the importance of being present for his wife and two daughters, finding strength within through yoga and living in the moment.
