FIRST FRIDAY | Happy ZU Year!

It’s our 1 Year Anniversary Celebration!!!
HAPPY ZU YEAR!!!

We are reflecting on the past year and bringing back some fun, community activities to ring in the NEW ZU YEAR on September 2nd!!!

(beware of an extreme overuse of exclamation points!!! and a load of giveaways!!!)

#1 Signs of Cortez | Last September, this was our first “art show” and we are bringing it back. Complete with YOU creating your own sign to display in the front window for all of Cortez to see!

#2 Postcards to You | We paid the postage on a postcard to yourself, offering yourself words of encouragement. We’ll have a special postcard with a stamp, TO and FROM YOU!

#3 Cupcakes | Last November, we passed out free cupcakes outside the gallery to celebrate Jodi’s (the ZU Keeper) birthday and we’re doing it again!

#4 Music & Mimosas | Last April, we hosted a special music event in the early morning hours that included free mimosas – we’ll have early evening music and mimosas instead!

#5 Photo Booth | A fun addition to many of our events this past year! This one will top the charts with an interactive twist – a Community Poem that you will help write!

#6 Artist Support | Last but not least…we have crafted and created these many events over the past year (5 themed pop-ups, 12 Listening Rooms, holiday events, classes and more) so that you could see and meet and support your MonteZUma County creative community of artists, musicians, authors, and more. We will see how many of the over 100 artists we have hosted over the past year will show and share with a pop-up show of all pop-up shows! A Walking Art Show! Look for details: HERE

Thank you for helping us with this new experience and sometimes experiment that we call ZU Gallery – Where Community & Collaboration Meets Art. We ALL Belong in the ZU!
