HAPPY ZU YEAR! You may have heard of an Art Walk…but have you heard of A Walking Art Show?
As part of our six part anniversary celebration, we are hosting A WALKING ART SHOW the evening of our celebration on FIRST FRIDAY, September 2nd from 6pm-9pm!
#6 Artist Support | Last but not least…we have crafted and created these many events over the past year (5 themed pop-ups, 12 Listening Rooms, holiday events, classes and more) so that you could see and meet and support your MonteZUma County creative community of artists, musicians, authors, and more. We will see how many of the over 100 artists we have hosted over the past year will show and share with a pop-up show of all pop-up shows! A Walking Art Show!
NOTE: This is not our usual pop-up, but a special show. Please carefully read the guidelines for submissions.
YOU ARE THE EASEL! Carry, hang or attach 1-3 pieces of art to yourself, your friend(s), and/or your family member(s). Enjoy the many events that happen during First Friday by walking around with your art. We will create an art card with a payment QR code so you can literally sell the art off your back! OR, an art buyer can bring the art card to ZU Gallery to pay and arrange for pick-up. A fun “parade of art” at ZU Gallery will occur at 7pm and then you’re free to wander again!
In the spirit of celebration we are reducing our commission from 30% to 10% for processing your sale at this event only.
