Join us for an evening of friendly competition, laughter, and orthographic glory at our inaugural Adult Team Spelling Bee! Unlike the high-pressure solo competitions of your childhood, this spelling bee brings the fun of teamwork to the classic contest of lexical mastery.

Date: June 12, 2025
Time: 6PM (approximately 3 hours)
Location: ZU Gallery
Cost: $40 per team (includes 4 drink tokens)

How It Works:
Form a team of 3-5 word enthusiasts and put your collective spelling prowess to the test! Teams will tackle increasingly challenging words through themed rounds including literary classics, international cuisine, scientific terminology, and pop culture references. Our collaborative format allows for team consultation before your designated speller steps up to the microphone. 

What to Expect:
Exciting themed rounds with words to challenge even the most seasoned spellers. Prizes for winning teams and creative team names. A judgment-free zone where everyone can embrace their inner word nerd.

Registration:
Teams must register by June 9th. Space is limited to 12 teams, so sign up early! Email meet@zugallery.com with subject: adult spelling bee and your team name.
