My first memory of becoming a photographer is chasing down the mailman through the neighborhood who left a missed delivery notice. The mailman had my first 35mm Nikon and I was not going to miss an opportunity to finally have my camera.
I proceeded to learn everything I could regarding my camera and photography. I completed every photography course the local community college offered. I spent endless hours developing film, processing prints and developing my eye to see composition and light. After lots of practice taking many pictures of my daughter I finally had the confidence to start taking pictures of other individuals. With my daughter in tow I eventually was taking pictures of weddings, groups, sports and family pictures.
…and as time manages to pass so quickly, I have been taking pictures for over 30 years. My passion continues as I now Iive in Cortez CO where I am surrounded by the beauty of Colorado. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to take pictures of the people who live in this community.
